Ingredients

  • 2 cans BRUNSWICK® TUNA , drained
  • 2 tbsp. / 30 mL olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • 2 tbsp. / 30 mL mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp / 5 mL pepper sauce
  • 1 tsp / 5 mL lime juice
  • 2 tbsp. chopped red onion
  • 8 slices tomato
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  • Combine olive oil with minced garlic. Brush onto bread slices (one side only), then lightly toast bread.
  • Preheat broiler. Combine BRUNSWICK® TUNA with mayonnaise, pepper sauce, lime juice and onion. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Spread onto toasted bread slices. Top with tomato slices and grated cheese. Broil until melted.
  • Serve hot.
